Its interesting to me that news media actually began to lose ad revenue in the 90s and not the 2000s. Weird to think people were actually using the internet to access news even while it was still in such a primitive state, at least compared to today. I had always believed that regular use of the internet didn't become a common thing until around the 2000s. Another thing that made this especially surprising to me is that in my early childhood, which was around the 2000s, I never knew of anyone using the internet to get news. We either got a paper, or watched news programs on television.

Forbes being a great source for news also surprised me. interesting to see that they have leadership that prides themselves on making sure their news section contains relevant and up to date information for readers. In the future, I'll look towards them for news about recent events that I can't find the specifics for. I actually read Forbes news regularly, mostly gaming related, and had never really considered them for more crucial news. Its good to know that there's another prominent news source that I can rely on in this day and age.
